The BiG executive training program is administered by the accredited
Otto-von-Guericke Business School Magdeburg,
founded some fifteen years ago by Prof. Dr. Joachim Weimann.
The Business School conducts Bachelor and Master level educational programs in
business administration (BBA and MBA) in both the German as well as English languages.
These study programs are organized on behalf of the Faculty of Economics and Management,
Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, a prominent German public university.

Prof. Dr. Joachim WEIMANN, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is the founder of the Otto-von-Guericke Business School Magdeburg. He is also the Chairman of the Department of Public Economic Policy, Faculty of Economics and Management, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. His main areas of research include experimental economics, environmental policy issues, and business ethics. He is the author of several books and is a regular contributor to policy discussions in Germany by means of his numerous media contributions. Consequently, he is listed as one of the “50 most influential economists in Germany,” according to a leading German publication.

Prof. Dr. Peter REICHLING, Head of International Affairs (HIA), is the Chairman of the Department of Banking and Finance, Faculty of Economics and Management, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg.
Moreover, he serves as Director of the Research Center for Development of the German Savings Bank Group. His main areas of research include company valuation, performance measurement, and risk measurement.
He is the author of a book on Risk Management and numerous scientific journal publications on related topics.

Dipl.-Kfm. Christian STAHR, Chief Operating Officer (COO), is responsible for the daily operation of the Otto-von-Guericke Business School. In addition, he is oversees the collaboration with institute partners around the world. His responsibilities include the organization and implementation of large projects and he is an expert on legal and administrative matters pertaining to business in Germany.

Dr. Franziska RUMPEL, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), is responsible for all external communications at the Otto-von-Guericke Business School. Concurrently, she is Director of Shopper Activation Solutions with the fourth largest market research organization in the world, the GfK SE, Nürnberg, Germany. She is a specialist in the area of neuromarketing and its relationship to product test markets.Her responsibilities include Point of Sale (PoS) measurement that provides essential market intelligence for retailers and manufactures. Having earned a B.S. in psychology, she is distinctively well equipped to adroitly analyze the behavior of consumers. Consequently, Dr. Rumpel is regularly connecting with German businesses and, accordingly, is duly well-versed concerning current market strategies and existing opportunities.
